Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Principal/Program Manager, utilize engineering mathematics, operations/logistics, statistics, inventory management, and production planning analytics to obtain solutions for Clients’ Supply Chain Management (“SCM”) and demand planning problems.
Specific Duties:
Work with client/Program Managers to collect sales data from food production, industrial packaging and other large-scale clients in order to analyze data to provide demand planning solutions;
Review massive amounts of sales data collected and utilize industrial planning knowledge to cull data for analytical use with tools such as SAP, PowerBI, Excel and ForecastPro and other engineering tools.
Analyze financial statements publicly available and present the financial ratios impacting supply chain
Formulate customized mathematical modeling in order to analyze and interpret sales data and determine which alternatives/options are the most efficient economical outcomes.
Optimize methods to develop, interpret and validate information that assists clients with demand planning decision-making, policy formulation, or other functions related to the supply chain management
Upon completion of analysis, develop and provide project reports related to optimal time, cost, and/or processes for client evaluation, review, and implementation.
Work with clients’ internal operations analysts and supply chain engineers and managers to educate them regarding their sales data to accurately project demand forecast and facilitate better logistics and supply chain methods
Assist the Principals/Program Managers in making client presentations of analytical findings
Requirements/Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or closely related field.
Two years of professional experience
Preferably in Operations/General Business/Finance/Computer science/Or any related Area
Candidates with experience in a fast-paced environment as well as use of data analysis tools and development of reports using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access would be preferred
Excellent Spoken and Written English skills and with an analytical mindset
An exposure to Python or any other programming language would be a plus
